DORSET County Youth League leaders Sherborne Town extended to nine points their advantage at the Division One summit with an 11-1 hammering of hosts Dorchester Town.

As pacesetters Sherborne remained unbeaten, Dorchester netted a consolation goal through Ben Sabine.

Parley Sports won for the second time when they defeated visitors Bournemouth Poppies Colts 3-2 thanks to goals from Mike Wyeth (2) and Iain Kay.

Westland Sports and Poole Town FC Wessex shared six goals and the points at Yeovil with Cian Cabell, Callum Marles and Matthew Lawrence on target for Sports.

  •  Merley Cobham Sports moved up to second place in Division Two after their 6-1 victory at Chickerell United. The Chickens netted through Tom Arliss.

Lytchett RT climbed into the top three with a 6-2 away win over Greenridge. Ellis Greenslade and Joshua Rose led the way by bagging a brace apiece.

Nick Rogers, Joshua Bennett and Callum McColl took centre stage as Broadstone FC claimed a 3-2 home win over Rossgarth.

Bournemouth Poppies returned to winning ways with a 2-1 home victory against Sherborne Town Colts. Jordan Knox was the Poppies hero as he netted both goals for the Bournemouth outfit.

  •  Hat-trick hero Frazer Thomas fired Rossgarth Colts to second spot in Division Three.

Thomas was the star of Rossgarth’s 5-0 home success over Corfe Mullen United Juniors, with Jordan Whalen and Matthew Jones also on the scoresheet.

Third-placed South Cheriton were beaten 1-0 at Wool & Winfrith, who netted through Daniel Sammars.

Dorchester Town Magpies lost for the second time when they suffered a 4-1 defeat at Portland United. Joshua Old’s effort counted for nothing as Craig Williams (2), Reece Clarke and Liam Tugwell struck for the Islanders.

Town FC Wessex moved out of the bottom two with a 3-2 win against Merley Cobham Sports Colts. Callum Dean was at the double for Merley.
