GROUP E looks like the one to watch in today's World Cup matches, with each team in with at least a slim chance of making the second round.

Even Honduras, if they beat Switzerland by enough goals, could still sneak second in the group, despite losing their first two games.

That would depend on leaders France, who are guaranteed a second round place, beating Ecuador.

France, with a vastly superior goal difference, will win the group regardless, unless Ecuador put several past them in the 9pm kick-off.

Switzerland's fate is an interesting one, as they sit on the same points as Ecuador, but with a worse goal difference.

It is truly a day where every goal will count.

Sasha Hasatroudi, from Bournemouth, is supporting Switzerland.

He said: “I thought it (the game against France) was one of the best games of the tournament to be fair.

“France absolutely hammered us, but in the last 15 minutes we started to look good again.

“We've still got a good chance to go through, whereas if we'd lost 5-0 it would have been minus five goals.

“Hopefully France can do the job against Ecuador.

“Honduras knocked us out in 2010, so hopefully we can get revenge.”

Before all of that, Group F finishes with two games at 5pm.

Argentina are through to the second round, but would finish in second if they lose to Nigeria today.

Nigeria just need a point to get through in second place, while Iran need to beat Bosnia-Hercegovina and hope that Argentina beat Nigeria if they want to take their World Cup further.

It's stacking up to be another interesting evening in Brazil.
