TRAVELLING FANS IN HIGH SPIRITS
TRAVELLING SUPPORT: Fans at a Carlisle pub this afternoon
TRAVELLING SUPPORT: Fans at a Carlisle pub this afternoon

CHERRIES fans gathering near to Carlisle United's Brunton Park were in good spirits ahead of Cherries' crucial relegation clash against the Cumbrians this afternoon.

Fans drinking and singing at Carlisle's rugby club close to the ground were part of an expected travelling support of more than 1,500 as Kevin Bond's men prepared to do battle.

Nine official coaches hit the road at 6am from Dean Court.

Bond, meanwhile, was in good spirits at the team's hotel in nearby Penrith.

The Cherries boss and assistants Rob Newman and Eddie Howe sat and watched a DVD of Carlisle's recent defeat at Millwall as the players relaxed ahead of this afternoon's clash.

Bond appeared in a relaxed mood, while fielding constant phone calls from well-wishers.

Fan Steve Brown, drinking at the rugby club, said: "We're very nervous but we're looking forward to Sean O'Driscoll doing us a favour!"

Fellow supporter Chris Manning, of Boscombe, added: "I don't want to make a prediction. I wouldn't want to guess.

"The boys have done so well so we're just hoping they carry on and perform well."

Serena McClelland, sporting a Cherries tattoo, told the Echo: "We booked our tickets in October, but a couple of months ago we thought we'd be down.

"Now we can hopefully have a party to celebrate staying up rather than saying farewell to League One."

Carlisle 1 – AFCB 1
Now wake up and smell the coffee!!
BOND - OUT
MOSTYN - OUT
CHERRIES - DOWN AND OUT the fault of Bond and Mostyn

Remember the start of the season, lose lose lose, BOND OUT.
Then Mostyn puts club in Administration and we lose 10 points. MOSTYN OUT.
Krasner appears for administration at Mostyns request.
Mostyn gets all the favourable publicity and Krasner also favours him.

AFCB down – Will we survive? I doubt it with penniless (allegedly – ha ha) Mostyn.
