  • Bournemouth Collegiate trio Jack Arnell, Christian Tai and Ben Samuel have been selected for an England Talent phase one develop-ment squad for the next year.

Swim Bournemouth’s Ryan Symington, Ollie Fairman, Isabelle Hepburn, Abbie Quarrie, Ella Bowman, Rosie Holland and Charlotte Head have been selected for the South West regional talent squad.

  • Ringwood Seals came first, Hamble second and a depleted Christchurch Seagulls team third in the Intermediate Trophy gala at Ringwood.

Meanwhile, a squad of nearly 30 Seagulls traded their Two Rivers-meet pool for the contrastingly vast surroundings of the London Aquatics Centre on Sunday for long-course training in Olympic pool which hosted the 2012 Olympic Games.

  • Poole and Swim Bournemouth will be heading for Dorchester instead of Weston-super-Mare this Saturday after the venue for their National Arena League West Premier Division first round fixture was switched due to an issue with another pool.

The time has also been changed from 2pm to 7pm and the line-up amended slightly. The other four teams at Dorchester will be Taunton Deane, Exeter City, Bodmin and Salisbury.
