DIVISION One table-toppers Poole are odds-on favourites for an immediate return to the Premier Division after a storming second round victory at Horfield, Bristol.

They won 27 of the 50 events – including 11 of the 16 relays – to finish 60 points clear of nearest challengers Bath Dolphin.

Todd Price was a triple winner, taking the men’s 100m individual medley in a club record 1:01.33 as well as the 100m butterfly (59.08) and 100m freestyle (54.88).

Naomi Vides also set a club record in the women’s medley (1:08.61) and went on to win the 100m freestyle (1:02.45). Jacob Peters, Madison Kemp and Harry Kemp were also double winners.

Peters won the 13/u 50m butterfly in a club record 29.51 and the 50m backstroke.

Madison Kemp the took 15/u 100m breaststroke in a club record 1:14.02 and 100m butterfly.

Harry’s victories came in the 13/u 50m breaststroke and freestyle. Other individual win-ners were Georga Harrison in the 13/u 50m butterfly, 15/u swimmers Kiran Olenicz in the 15/u 100m backstroke, Alex Price in the boys’ 100m freestyle and Jasmine Holmes in the 100m freestyle, and Noah Vides in the men’s 100m breaststroke (1:08.72).

  •  Swim Bournemouth B came fourth in their Division One gala at Bodmin, where winners were Hannah Stonier in the 13/u 50m butterfly and freestyle and the women’s 6x50m freestyle relay.
