PIRATES ace Leon Madsen missed out on a place in the 2011 Grand Prix on Saturday night.

Competing in the GP Challenge at Vojens, Madsen scored just five points after managing one race win.

Meanwhile, Madsen is named in the Elite League leaders’ line-up for tonight’s meeting at Wolverhampton.

With both sides strongly fancied to be finalists in the end-of-season play-offs, Pirates will be determined to give the 2009 champions a tough test.
