BRADY Kurtz and Hans Andersen have been confirmed as Pirates' representatives in the SGB Premiership Riders' Championship.
The prestigious event is due to take place at the National Speedway Stadium – home to Belle Vue – on Saturday, September 16.
Each of the eight top-flight clubs are due to be represented by two riders, with Wolverhampton skipper Freddie Lindgren defending the crown he won under the Elite League banner at Coventry last season.
Lindgren’s Grand Prix rival Jason Doyle is also included but Aces fans will hope British champion Craig Cook and Max Fricke can taste success on their home track.
Poole have had three winners of the title in the past 15 years, the most recent being Australian star Chris Holder in 2012.
The others were Bjarne Pedersen in 2004 and Tony Rickardsson two years earlier.
Intriguingly, the title has been won by an Australian or a Swede for the past nine years.
Line-up: Jason Doyle (Swindon), Freddie Lindgren (Wolverhampton), Nick Morris (Swindon), Jacob Thorssell (Wolverhampton), Brady Kurtz (Pirates), Craig Cook (Belle Vue), Hans Andersen (Pirates), Kim Nilsson (Leicester), Josh Grajczonek (Somerset), Chris Harris (Rye House), Scott Nicholls (Rye House), Robert Lambert (King’s Lynn), Max Fricke (Belle Vue), Richard Lawson (Somerset), Danny King (Leicester), Thomas Jorgensen (King’s Lynn).
