JACK Holder reckons Pirates will have the full support of his older brother Chris when they lock horns with King's Lynn in a crucial clash.

Poole will aim to keep on course their bid for the SGB Premiership play-offs with victory over the beleaguered Stars at Wimborne Road.

Chris Holder moved to Lynn during the off-season after his weighty average had seen him ruled out of the team-building plans of Pirates chief Matt Ford.

However, the switch turned sour when the former world champion was handed a nine-month ban for allegedly refusing to race in two heats against Poole in July.

The fans' favourite maintained he had been taking a stand over unsafe track conditions.

Jack Holder believes his sibling will be in Poole's corner for tonight's fixture (7.30pm) and admits it is a meeting his team must win.

He told the Daily Echo: "I'm sure my brother will be down here in our pits just rubbing it in their faces.

"What they have done to him is pretty bad but I can't really say too much about that.

"It's do or die for us at the moment. We made it tough for ourselves a few weeks back by losing a few meetings.

"King's Lynn is a must-win for us, especially at home, and if we can get some points at their place on Thursday, that will be good."
