PIRATES racer Timo Lahti enjoyed a fruitful few days in the saddle as he twice hit double figures on the continent.

First, Lahti starred in the Swedish second tier as he raced to 11 points for Griparna, helping his team seal a 52-38 victory over Ornarna at Husky Arena.

And on Saturday, the 25-year-old banked 12 points for Finnish side Porin Nopea Racing as they charged to victory in the fifth round of the SM-Liiga.

Lahti top scored for his team as they netted 43 points and easily saw off Kotkat (23), Wasamat 17 (22) and Sand Blowers (20) on home shale.

Meanwhile, Poole skipper Hans Andersen racked up nine paid 10 but could not prevent a 47-42 defeat for Lodz at home to Tarnow in the Polish second tier on Saturday.

Some 48 hours earlier, Jack Holder had bagged 12 points in Peterborough's 45-45 SGB Championship draw at Redcar.

Team-mate Paul Starke managed five paid six while another Pirates racer, Richie Worrall, guested for the Panthers and reeled in seven paid eight.
