NICOLAI Klindt is set to return to the Pirates septet for Monday's crunch SGB Premiership meeting with Belle Vue.
The popular Dane sustained a serious knee injury in a crash at Latvian track Daugavpils earlier this month.
But following intense physiotherapy and a practice session at Danish track Esbjerg this morning, Klindt declared himself fit to ride at Wimborne Road.
Pirates chief Matt Ford confirmed the good news.
Despite major ligament damage, former Leicester and Swindon man Klindt will have spent just 22 days on the sidelines.
