NEIL Middleditch has urged Pirates to make the most of the absence of Freddie Lindgren when Wolverhampton arrive in Dorset tonight (7.30pm).

The SGB Premiership leaders have recruited Somerset's Josh Grajczonek to guest for Grand Prix star Lindgren, who is sidelined with a knee injury.

Middleditch told the Daily Echo: "No disrespect to Josh but, hopefully, that will play in our favour. We still have to perform on the track.

"You have to race what they put in front of you. It's a shame for Freddie and, hopefully, he will recover quickly.

"But we have to take advantage when we can."

Pirates welcome back Aussie youngsters Brady Kurtz and Jack Holder for the Wimborne Road fixture, while Leicester's Josh Bates guests for the sidelined Nicolai Klindt. Recent signing Grzegorz Zengota is set to make his home debut.

Middleditch added: "We've got to start stamping our authority, certainly at home.

"The main job is to get to the play-offs. If we get there, it all starts again. In these next few meetings, we need to get some points in the bag.

"I'm concerned at this stage of the season, there is a long way to go yet."
