RAPID Hans Andersen stormed into the Danish Championship final after taking top spot in the semi at Glumsø.
The 36-year-old racked up 14 points to finish three clear of Anders Thomsen and Michael Jepsen Jensen, the former prevailing in a run-off for second.
Andersen will join Pirates team-mate Nicolai Klindt in the final at Fjelsted on Friday, August 4.
Other qualifiers from Glumsø were Mikkel Michelsen, Patrick Hansen, Mikkel Bech, Mads Korneliussen, Jonas B Andersen, Rene Bach and Jonas Jeppesen.
Peter Kildemand, who competed despite his broken foot, fell short but appears the leading contender for a wild card from the Danish Motor Union.
The other riders due to contest the final are Niels-Kristian Iversen, Nicki Pedersen, Kenneth Bjerre and Bjarne Pedersen.
Andersen totalled seven paid eight in Lejonen's 47-43 win at Indianerna on Tuesday, while Klindt failed to score in two outings for the defeated side.
Kyle Newman scored a modest five paid six in Ipswich's 53-39 home win against Newcastle in the SGB Championship on Thursday.
