DANNY King will come to Pirates' aid after Krzysztof Kasprzak was ruled out of the Good Friday double-header against Somerset.
Kasprzak is due to race in the Polish Golden Helmet final on that date having won his semi-final at Rawicz.
Poole chief Matt Ford recently stated he would not stand in the way of foreign riders racing in their homeland in the event of a fixture clash.
And he quickly rubber-stamped the booking of Leicester and Ipswich flier King – the reigning British champion – for the SGB Premiership clashes with the Rebels.
Ford told the Daily Echo: "Krzys won his Golden Helmet semi-final and sadly the final falls on the day we are home and away against Somerset.
"I knew it was potentially going to be a problem from the outset but we have secured the services of Danny King as a guest.
"I actually asked Danny the day Coventry pulled out of the league so I knew he would be available, and he has agreed to take both fixtures."
