GRAND Prix rider Chris Harris will race to the rescue for Wolverhampton in their play-off semi-final clash with Pirates tonight.

The British international has answered the call to step in for Jacob Thorssell, who is required for the Swedish play-off final.

Harris, who asked to leave parent club Coventry this winter, has already guested for Wolves this season.

Wolves owner Chris Van Straaten told the club website: “We would like to thank Chris for standing in. He is always a popular guest because he never fails to produce 100 per cent effort.

“We are 12 points down from the first leg so we are still within touching distance but we cannot afford any silly errors and have to be on top of our game.

“I’m sure it will be a good night of entertainment for the fans. We need all our fans to get behind us and roar us on in what will be a very tough test indeed.”

Wolves are at full strength apart from Thorssell. For Pirates, Rohan Tungate is due to guest in the absence of the injured Bjarne Pedersen.
