PIRATES will face Wolverhampton in the Elite League play-offs after Lakeside sealed their place in the last four by beating Swindon last night.

Table-toppers Belle Vue elected to race the Hammers, leaving Poole to line up against Wolves in a mouth-watering semi-final featuring four of the world's top-10 riders.

The Dorset side will host the first leg at Wimborne Road on Wednesday, with the second leg at Monmore Green on Monday, September 26.

The Grand Final has been penciled in for Monday, October 3 and Wednesday, October 5.

Grand Prix stars Chris Holder and newly-signed Antonio Lindback will line up for Pirates, while Wolves boast world champion Tai Woffinden and Swedish world number 10 Freddie Lindgren in their ranks.
