PIRATES riders Hans Andersen and Bjarne Pedersen have been confirmed in the line-up for Blue Riband at Wimborne Road.
The inclusion of the Danish duo increases to four riders the field for the end-of-season meeting, with Polish stars Kacper Gomolski and Krzysztof Buczkowski already announced.
Andersen, Pedersen and Buczkowski are all part of the Poole line-up this season while Gomolski played his part in the team which won last year's Elite League crown.
Pirates chief Matt Ford admits he plans to shake the meeting up with a few fresh names from the continent.
He told the Daily Echo: "We will, hopefully, see a few new faces to British speedway on the day.
"We are sending out invites to a few younger riders to bring them across."
The Blue Riband was staged annually between 1970 and 1998 and was most recently contested in 2013.
Ford elected to bring the one-off event back this season with the meeting scheduled for Friday, October 14.
Pirates are back in Elite League action on Saturday when the reigning champions make the trip to basement side Leicester.
