CHRIS Holder admits his current race schedule is "ludicrous" but insists he does not mind a stacked calendar.

Last night due to ride for Swedish club Lejonen, Holder is set to line up for Pirates against King's Lynn in crucial Elite League clashes tonight and tomorrow.

He will then make the lengthy journey north east to Malilla for Saturday's Swedish Grand Prix before taking part in Individual Extra League Championship in Gdansk, Poland 24 hours later.

Meetings with Polish club Torun and Lejonen on Monday and Tuesday, respectively, round off a busy eight days for the Sydneysider.

Holder told the Daily Echo: "I think it will be about a 16-hour drive to get to Poland from Sweden on Sunday. Once we've done that it's non-stop, we race with Torun and then turn around and drive up to Sweden, which is probably another 12 to 15 hours.

"It's ludicrous but I don't mind it. If you are going well then it's good fun travelling around, scoring points and earning money.

"If you are having a tough time, that's when you think 'what the hell am I doing?'. It's racing so it has its highs and lows and you have to roll with it."
