POOLE Pirates stars past and present have been posting messages of condolence on social media following the death of speedway rider Krystian Rempala.
The 18-year-old underwent emergency surgery after sustaining head injuries in a crash in Poland on Sunday in which his helmet came off.
It was announced today that Rempala had lost his fight for life.
