PIRATES' Elite League play-off semi-final first-leg clash with Coventry has been put back to Friday.
The tie had originally been inked in for Monday.
However, the fixture was rescheduled due to an inclement weather forecast for the original date.
Victory over two legs would see Neil Middleditch's side move a step closer to an unprecedented third straight Elite League tite.
The rescheduled meeting could come at a good time for Poole skipper Maciej Janowski, who suffered a spill after tangling with Tomas H Jonasson in tonight's Slovenian Grand Prix.
The Speedway Grand Prix's official Twitter feed reported that Janowski would require stitches in his right elbow, which was heavily bandaged.
Janowski failed to make the semi-final although his Pirates team-mate Chris Holder did, only to finish fourth. Former Pirate Greg Hancock triumphed overall.
Meanwhile, Wimborne Road favourite Kyle Newman pulled out of Plymouth's clash with Rye House after suffering dizziness following a fall on his third ride.
