WITHDRAWAL: Poole Pirates are set to miss out on the World Speedway League 2015
POOLE Pirates have withdrawn from the World Speedway League 2015 according to the FIM.
The Wimborne Road outfit finished second in the inaugural meeting last year and qualified for the showpiece club event having successfully defended their Elite League crown.
But the FIM today announced that Poole’s place in Gorzow on Saturday, April 25, would be taken by King’s Lynn Stars.
Stal Gorzow (Poland), Elit Vetlanda (Sweden) and Holsted (Denmark) make up the quartet of teams participating.
