PIRATES trio Shamek Pawlicki, Maciej Janowski and Vaclav Milik all progressed to the second stage of Grand Prix qualifying following solid outings yesterday.
Pawlicki scored nine and Janowski 11 in the rescheduled meeting at Berwick, while Milik progressed in Abensberg, Germany after recovering from a first-ride exclusion.
Milik reeled off four wins in a row and then beat current GP rider Martin Smolinski to determine second place behind Pirates asset and maximum man Tomas H Jonasson.
The next rounds will take place in Gorican, Croatia and Czestochowa, Poland on June 21 with the Grand Prix Challenge scheduled for September 20 in Lonigo, Italy.
Pirates are next in action at home to Leicester Lions a week tomorrow.
