Injury nightmare for Oaks

OAKMEADIANS suffered triple injury trouble as Marlow held on for a 15-15 away draw in a frantic South West One East clash.

Meyrick Parkers coach James Croker said: “We hit back from behind to level with a last-minute try but missed a kick to win it. We lost Malaki Magnus and Will Ford after they had a head collision in the 20th minute and both had to go off and have stitches.

“Then Shane Coughlan got whacked on the knee. As he was off having treatment, Marlow scored one of their tries when we were down to 14 men.

“I had to make all three substitutions in the first half, so to get a draw against Marlow, who are third, was brilliant.”

Will Samuels bagged two tries for Oaks, with Jamie Tryska adding one conversion and a penalty.
