BOURNEMOUTH boss Will Croker says his team "should be licking their lips" at the prospect of upcoming fixtures.

Lions will hope to get their bid for play-off rugby back on track on Saturday when they host struggling Ivybridge in South West Premier (3pm).

A crucial fixture against second-place Maidenhead follows before a Hampshire Cup final clash with Havant at the end of this month.

Croker told the Daily Echo: "It's not out of our hands and that's the blessing. We still have to play Maidenhead and Newton Abbot at home.

"We play Ivybridge this weekend, who are going to be scrapping for their lives as they have just dropped into the bottom three.

"We then play Maidenhead at home before contesting the cup final and they are three games we should be licking our lips over.

"Our appetite should be whetted to get stuck in because they are certainly not dead rubbers, they are games which mean a lot."

Joe Rees will return for the visit of Ivybridge and Tom Napier is back in contention after recovering from broken ribs.

However, Jack Hennings, Mike Treloar and Pat Fraser are unavailable.

Maidenhead are two points clear of Lions in the standings, while third-place Newton Abbot are a point ahead of the Chapel Gate club.
