ADAM Lavis banked 16 points as New Milton & District registered a comprehensive 51-21 victory against Hampshire One rivals Isle of Wight.
First-half tries from Lee Thomas, Ramon Mallette and Sam Bew, coupled with Lavis kicking two penalties and two conversions, saw New Milton reach the interval leading 25-14.
They extended their advantage through tries from Ben Russell and substitute Ryan Morrell, with the trusty boot of Lavis successfully dispatching both conversions.
Morrell scored two tries in as many minutes to complete his hat-trick with Lavis converting one to cap a memorable day for the kicker.
First-team rookie Martin Wright was chosen as the New Milton man of the match for his play at prop and in the loose.
