A DEPLETED Ellingham & Ringwood side were indebted to the trusty boot of Josh Butcher for their last-gasp 22-22 Snows Group Hampshire 1 draw at Chineham on Saturday.
Ellingham, five places above second bottom Chineham in the table, found themselves under siege against their adventurous hosts.
Chineham ran in four tries and added a single conversion to their tally.
The away team, by contrast, only crossed once, with Butcher converting prop forward Ollie Wentworth's try.
And centre Butcher kept his nerve at the death, sending over his fifth penalty of the afternoon with the last kick of the match.
