ELLINGHAM & Ringwood returned to form in emphatic style by crushing Romsey 39-7 in Hampshire One.
Stuart Pearce, Ollie Wentworth and Jack White all crossed for tries to add to Josh Butcher's early penalty as Ellingham applied a firm grip on the game.
Beaten on their previous two outings, Ellingham's half-time lead was cut to 22-7 when Romsey scored a converted try.
Undeterred, however, the hosts stretched away after the break, with man of the match White contributing his second score.
Chris Gillespie and Callum Butcher also went over to seal a commanding victory for Ellingham ahead of Saturday's trip to struggling Chineham.
