FORMER Lytchett Minster star Semesa Rokoduguni turned in a man-of-the-match display to help England crush Fiji at Twickenham on Saturday.

Rokoduguni looked a threat almost every time he had the ball in hand and scored two tries on his second appearance as England ran out 58-15 winners.

The 29-year-old, who currently plays for Bath, joined Lytchett Minster in 2008 and helped them gain promotion to Hampshire One while training with the Army at Bovington camp.

Winger Rokoduguni helped England stretch their winning run to 12 matches, running in two of their nine tries against the country where he was born.

He had last played for England against New Zealand in 2014 and it was seen as a shrewd move by coach Eddie Jones to play him in a less intense match after he had struggled with the occasion on his debut.

"Rokoduguni has definitely got a smile on his face,” Jones told the BBC. “I'm really pleased for him because he worked hard to get this chance. He got a lot of reward for the hard work he's done."

Tries from Jonathan Joseph, Elliot Daly, Rokoduguni, Teimana Harrison and Joe Launchbury gave England a big lead.

And the visitors hit back, further scores from Launchbury (two), Joseph, Alex Goode and Rokoduguni saw them secure their biggest winning margin against Fiji.
