TOM Moysey provided the star turn for Wimborne as they outclassed Dorset Dockers 59-0 in Southern Counties South.
Moysey twice crossed the whitewash and added six conversions and a penalty to take to 25 points his tally for the day.
Starting strongly, Wimborne did not give Dockers any opportunity to get a foothold in the contest at Leigh Park.
The visitors did not help their cause when ill discipline meant they were reduced to 14 men inside the first 10 minutes.
Seizing their opportunities, Wimborne ran in three tries to head into the break 22 points to the good.
Following the restart, the Minstermen continued where they left off, running in five further tries. Like Moysey, Jim Brokenshire crossed twice and the rapid feet of full-back Ashton Kerley – who also touched down – caused plenty of problems.
There were further tries from Declan Foley, Miles Corbin and Darren Deguara. Wimborne have now won back-to-back games and are third in the table, five points adrift of leaders Marlborough.
Team manager Dan Draper said: “We were all focused on November as a tough month and while we hoped for a good start, this performance has given us real confidence to push on.”
