RUGBY: Wimborne under-16s opened their Dorset & Wilts Cup campaign with a 41-19 pool victory over North Dorset.
North Dorset led 19-12 early in the second half but eventually Wimborne's superior fitness and pace told and they ran in a string of tries.
Crossing the whitewash for Wimborne were Ethan Bell (2), Robert Deacon, Jude Blackman, Alex Robinson, Johannes Ludick and Jake Allder, the latter kicking three successful conversions.
