BOURNEMOUTH head coach Will Croker hopes a hefty dose of 'reality TV' will help his team rediscover their spark against National Three South West leaders Barnstaple tomorrow (2.30pm).
Lions suffered a 32-24 loss to lowly Old Patesians last weekend with the squad reviewing the match DVD during an extended session on Tuesday.
And Croker admitted that the opportunity to watch and discuss the action had resulted in his players' expectations of themselves rising higher than ever.
He told the Daily Echo: "We highlighted some areas of concern and, effectively, let them chew it over.
"They were very self-critical in an introspective way, so they have seen the error of their ways and now want to atone for it.
"In fact, their standards are now almost starting to exceed that of the coaching team in terms of what they expect of each other.
"They have given themselves a very hard time and are pumped up and raring to go for this weekend.
"Too many people that had their worst game of the season against Old Pats and I'm confident that won't happen again."
Returning to the starting XV tomorrow are Grant Hancox, Steve Osborne and Mike Treloar. Among the replacements will be Ollie Yates and Rudi Kochanowski, who have been promoted from the second team.
