WILL Croker has urged his Bournemouth players to think on their feet when they bid for a second straight victory in National Three South West tomorrow.

Croker watched his troops record a 32-13 win at Dings Crusaders on the opening day but the head coach insisted there were aspects on which to improve.

And he is keen for Lions to put their hard training into practice against Old Redcliffians at Chapel Gate (2.30pm).

Croker told the Daily Echo: "There was a huge amount of courage in keeping Dings to zero in the second half but we didn't use our brains in trying to get out of the danger areas.

"That was probably down to a bit of rustiness plus we had a lot of new faces and you have to learn how each other play. We want to be able to control matches better so we have worked a lot on that this week.

"We have also focused on our tempo. I felt that against Dings we were almost slowing down our own ball but we need to improve our flow because we have a very talented set of backs who will cut teams to pieces if we can give them quick ball."

Pat Fraser and Matt Christopher are unavailable so Alan Benham starts at hooker and Dan Cawley at flanker, with Matt Warwick shifting into the second row.

Ex-Amersham & Chiltern hooker Ben Allman is on the replacements' bench following his return from a minor knee injury.

Croker added: "As it's our first home game we would love to see as much of the local community supporting us as possible."

First-team player Jack Hennings, who suffered an AC joint injury in the pre-season clash with Sheffield, is poised to turn out for Bournemouth II at Wimborne II.
