STAR performers from Swanage & Wareham and Wimborne play for their 15 minutes of fame tomorrow when Dorset & Wilts take on Leicestershire for a place at Twickenham.

The Twin Counties will journey to Vipers RFC, Leicester for their RFU County Shield semi-final clash with the winners set to play at the home of English rugby.

Swanage’s Southern Counties South title winners Nick Audley and Charlie Parish and Wimborne’s Steve King are set for starting roles, with Joe Desmond, Matt Roberts (Swanage), Tyler Adams and Rob Best (Wimborne) lined up as replacements.

Team manager Matt Pallas said: “We have had to make a few changes to the starting XV due to players having other commitments, some of which are down to work with a couple more attending weddings.

“But I feel that this has not weakened the team. The lads waiting to come in have been very patient and each of them deserve their opportunity to play.”
