MEMBERS of Bournemouth RFC will vote on a proposal to convert to a limited company ahead of the new season at Friday’s annual general meeting (AGM).
Should the move be ratified, the Chapel Gate club would appoint a board of directors from the group of officers voted in at the AGM.
There will also be a change at the helm with long-serving chairman Denis Eveleigh standing down this summer. It is understood that current vice-chair Phil Sinkinson is the only candidate standing for the post at this stage.
On the potential change to the club’s structure, Eveleigh said: “What we are proposing is a standard protective mechanism in line with what several clubs are already doing on the basis of the governing body’s advice.”
The AGM will be held in the Marriott Highcliff Hotel.
