We did our first World Cup event of the year in Miami last week, which was a good start to the year because we came away with the gold.

It was a tricky week and we didn’t really sail our best so, in many ways, we were even more pleased with the gold. But there is still plenty to work on – it definitely highlighted that.

We got back to Poole on Monday morning – all three of us grew up in Poole and still live there.

It has mostly been all go since we got back. We go to Cadiz on Monday and that is where we will be training for the next two months.

It is really hectic but it should calm down a bit after this. It is just the changeover time of setting up everything for the next couple of months of training and making sure we are going to be in the best place and have the best facilities possible when we are training in Cadiz. That all takes a bit of time to sort out.

We spend more or less two weeks on and one week off training, so we will still have a little bit of time off when we will come home to remember where Poole is!

But we will certainly be focusing our time out in Cadiz.

We are really grateful for everyone’s support and are looking forward to updating you on our progress in the weeks and months ahead.”
