WEBSTER'S WOE
Shaun Webster
Shaun Webster

A DISASTROUS third round saw Dorset's Shaun Webster plummet more than 50 places in this week's Challenge Tour tournament in France.

The Ferndown touring professional carded a nine-over-par 79 to slip from 13th to 65th place at the AGF-Allianz Open Côtes d'Armor Bretagne.

Webster will start tomorrow's final round on eight over par - 12 shots behind overnight leader Andreas Hogberg of Sweden.

The former English Amateur champion never recovered from a double bogey six at the opening hole.

Further double bogeys followed at the 11th and 14th holes to compound another four dropped shots. He chalked up just on birdie at the sixth.
