ROUNDS of 74 and 76 meant Dorset star Georgia Hall failed to make the cut in the first women’s major of the season.

The Wimborne-based professional did not compete on the weekend for the second event in succession as she endured a tough week at the ANA Inspiration.

Despite hitting 21 of 28 fairways during her two rounds at Mission Hills Country Club in California, the former Canford Kid could only find 23 of the 36 greens in regulation.

She finished six over par for the tournament, five shots off the cut line of one over.

Hall also failed to make the weekend when competing at the event as an amateur in 2013 when the tournament was known as the Kraft Nabisco Championship.
