DORSET'S Georgia Hall is relishing the task of taking on the "spectacular" Royal Canberra course.

The 21-year-old heads into the £85,000 Canberra Classic top of the Ladies' European Tour order of merit having finished tied-third at the season-opening Oates Vic Open last week.

Speaking to the LET, Wimborne-based Hall said: "I love coming back to Australia and it’s such a great place to play golf. The courses are fantastic and in great condition.

"I played the front nine at Royal Canberra today and the course looks spectacular.

"The fairways and greens are in amazing condition and the best I’ve seen in a while, so I’m looking forward to playing here."

Solheim Cup star Hall is due off at 9.03pm UK time tomorrow alongside Australia's Minjee Lee and South Korea's Jiyai Shin.

As part of her trip to Canberra, Hall visited the National Zoo & Aquarium alongside some of her tour colleagues, including Cheyenne Woods and Xi Yu Lin.

She said: "It was really good fun and nice to see some different animals that you don’t normally get to see in England.

"My favourites were the otters and the little penguins, which were very cute."
