A DAZZLING final-round 68 from Dorset star Georgia Hall earned her a tie for third at the Oates Vic Open in Australia.
Previous rounds of 70, 73 and 74 saw the world number 40 finish seven under par for the tournament, six shots behind winner Minjee Lee.
Having opened with a bogey five on the Beach course at 13th Beach Golf Club, Hall rattled off six birdies throughout her final round to climb the leaderboard.
She told the LET website: “It was a great final day. I putted a lot better and really made the use of the par fives.
“I had three eagle putts and, unfortunately, not one dropped, but it was a good way to start the season and I’m happy with the way I played and learned some things about my game, so I’m looking forward to the next one now.”
Former Canford Kid Hall finished level with Australia’s Hannah Green with Karis Davidson securing outright second.
The Wimborne-based professional banked almost 22,000 euro at the event near Melbourne.
She is expected to shoot to the top of the Ladies European Tour order of merit when the rankings are confirmed on Tuesday.
