DORSET'S Georgia Hall today enjoyed a solid start to her first tournament of the year – the £1.3million Honda LPGA Thailand.
The former Canford Kid, who received an invite to the star-studded event, shot a even-par 72 at Siam Country Club.
Wimborne-based Hall sunk a birdie three on the 11th but at bogey four at the next hole pulled her back level.
That placed the ex-Curtis Cup star tied for 36th in a field of 70, at a tournament where there is no cut.
Home favourite Ariya Jutanugarn and South Korea's Amy Yang hold the joint lead after round one on six under.
Hall is due to begin her second round at 2.50am tomorrow morning (GMT).
