DORSET golf sensation Georgia Hall stormed to the top of the leaderboard after setting the women’s course record at Saadiyat Beach Golf Club today.
The 20-year-old carded no fewer than eight birdies in her bogey-free 64 during the second round of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open in Abu Dhabi.
Wimborne-based Hall, 10th on the order of merit going into the tournament, finished at 10 under-par after shooting 70 in her first round.
Hall, who is still on the hunt for her first LET victory, has shown superb consistency in finishing outside the top 16 just once in her past seven tournaments – the British Open being her only missed cut during that run.
