BOURNEMOUTH'S Georgia Hall kept hold of her Victorian Open lead despite two late bogeys on the Creek Course.

The former Oakmead College pupil fired a second round of 70 to move to seven-under at the £150,000 event in Australia.

Five birdies allowed her to remain one ahead of Danish star Nanna Madsen.

Hall, who had opened with a four-under-par 69 on the Beach Course, told the Australian Ladies Professional Golf website: “I felt it was worse than yesterday. I know I was playing a different golf course but the holes were harder as well.

“There were some really long holes and the wind got worse on the back nine.

“I dropped a couple of shots at the end but it’s so tough out there that you just have to be patient.”
