PARKSTONE sensation Georgia Hall bagged a stunning hole-in-one at the Dubai Ladies Masters - and won a £50,000 Mercedes she cannot legally drive.

The 18-year-old, who turned pro in July, used a four iron to sink her tee shot at the 163-yard par-three 15th on the Majlis Course at Emirates Golf Club.

She won a gleaming Mercedes C 200 for draining the third-round ace.

However, the former Oakmead College pupil is not able to take her new toy for spin as she has not passed her driving test.

Hall had hoped to take her test in January and winning a top-of-the-range luxury saloon may hasten her bid to get on the road.

The Kinson-based star, competing in Dubai courtesy of a sponsors' invite, told the Daily Echo: "My driving test is going to happen after Christmas.

"I haven't had time because I've been practising my game but I really need to be able to drive.

"I had six lessons about a year ago but then it was summer so I had to play golf. I haven't had any since.

"I got on to roundabouts but I was really scared because I didn't know what to do when all the cars were coming!

"I think theory might hold me back because I've already had a go at that and failed, although I didn't revise!"

The ace enabled Hall to finish the day on two-over-par, which left her on two-over for the tournament heading into tomorrow's final round.

The Wallisdown-raised player is tied-51st, some 16 shots off the lead held by world number five Shanshan Feng.

Hall told the Ladies European Tour website: "I couldn't really see the ball go in because the sun was in my eyes but it was a great feeling.

"I knew it was straight on line so I hoped it was going to roll in and it did, so I was happy."

The teenager will next week compete at final qualifying at Lalla Aicha Tour School in Morocco, with the aim of earning full membership to the LET in 2015.
