POOLE Town moved to within two points of Wimborne at the top of the Sydenhams Wessex Premier with a revenge 3-1 triumph at Blackfield & Langley last night.
Steve Smith and Carl Preston were on target for Dolphins, who avenged a 2-1 home defeat against Blackfield in October.
Poole's other strike was an own goal after Blackfield's goalkeeper deflected Stuart Brown's shot into his own net.
It was a comfortable win for Dolphins, who were 3-0 up before they conceded a late goal.
Bournemouth Poppies drew 1-1 at home with Romsey.
Andy Culliford levelled for the hosts after a Jon Blake own goal had given the visitors the lead.
Christchurch bowed out of the Hampshire Senior Cup at the semi-final stage after losing 3-0 at high-flying Zamaretto South and West outfit AFC Totton.
But Priory gave a good account of themselves after falling 3-0 behind inside 35 minutes.
And they might have got back into the game if they'd been awarded a penalty when Tom Jeffes was brought down when it was still 2-0.
