DAVID Elm admits he has to pinch himself when he looks at the Southern Premier table and sees “little old Bashley” sitting third in a play-off spot.

Elm added: “For me, going up would be right up there with us winning the Southern League South and West title a few years ago.”

Bash face another tough home test against second-placed Brackley tonight (7.45pm), but would go second in the table with a win.

Striker Mark Gamble has shrugged off an ankle injury and is in Bash’s squad.
