DARREN Powell has revealed that some home truths helped spark Wimborne Town’s fine run of form.
Since losing at Romsey on November 11, Magpies have amassed 28 points from a possible 33 to put themselves firmly in the Wessex Premier title race.
And some straight-talking following the Romsey defeat helped put them back on track, according to assistant boss Powell.
He said: “A lot of things came out after Romsey and there was a bit of a flare-up in the dressing room. We had a clear the air and have kicked on from there.”
Alex Browne’s men host Laverstock and Ford at Cuthbury tomorrow (3pm). Tommy McCor-mick is out (gashed leg), while Paul Roast (knee) is doubtful.
