BOSS Andy Bye is close to completing his New Milton squad after snapping up three players.

Goalscoring midfielder Simon Quirk, who netted eight times in the Wessex Premier Division last term, has moved to Fawcett's Field from Hamble.

AFC Totton pair Danny Cox and Gareth Byers have also penned deals with Linnets.

Bye said: "We're quite happy with what we've got.

"We're quite well stocked with players and want to let the lads who performed well last season progress."

Meanwhile, Max Sampays has left New Milton and Bye expects him to join Hythe and Dibden.
