POOLE Town chairman Chris Reeves is encouraging former players to attend the club's legends' dinner.

Reeves is hoping there will be a big turnout for a memorable night's entertainment at Poole Centenary Hall and Club on Thursday, March 29.

The event, priced at £35 per person, will see comedian Jimmy Jones provide the laughs and includes a two-course meal. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

Reeves told the Daily Echo: “We are looking for as many former players – and their other halves – to attend as possible.

"We have run two or three of these events over the past few years and it has been great to see camaraderie and team spirit reignited.

Poole Town Football Club is a special organisation and players who spend time with us remember that time fondly.

"They form significant friendships and when you get the opportunity to renew past friendships, I believe that opportunity should be grasped.

“While we are keen to bring the night to the attention of supporters and former players, the event is open to all. Hopefully, it will be a night to remember."
