BOSS Matty Holmes's half-time prediction came true as Wimborne Town battled back from two goals down to thrash Shortwood United 5-2.
Magpies faced an uphill task after Sam Taylor's double gave strugglers Shortwood the advantage in the Southern League West clash at Cuthbury.
But a remarkable second-half goal blitz ensured Wimborne took three points.
Jack Lovell started the comeback in the 69th minute and Toby Holmes levelled matters moments later.
After winger Luke Burbidge rattled the post, Lovell rifled Magpies in front and the visitors were then reduced to 10 men.
Toby Holmes got his second and substitute Sam Bayston completed the rout in the third minute of stoppage time.
Matty Holmes told the Daily Echo: "We played well in the first half but they had two attempts and scored two goals.
"At half-time, we told the boys they could easily win the game 3-2 or 4-2.
"We told them to focus defensively, put more quality into our final ball and get more people in the box. The players were excellent in the second half and they did what we asked.
"The last half an hour was the best we've played all season in terms of tempo and chances created and scored."
Magpies: Benfield, Penny, Cole (Kellaway, 66), Davidson, Oldring, Maybury, Stokoe, L Holmes, T Holmes (Bayston, 88), Burbidge, Lovell. Unused subs: Francis, Kinge-Phillips, Arnold.
