BOSS Matty Holmes is hopeful of having Wimborne Town striker Toby Holmes fit and firing tomorrow.
The former Parley Sports and Dorchester Town ace was forced off during Magpies’ 1-0 defeat at Winchester City on Monday.
He was replaced at half-time after sustaining a bruised foot as the Cuthbury side suffered their second Southern League West defeat of the season.
Striker Holmes has already scored three times in the league this campaign, as well as netting a hat-trick in an FA Cup tie at Andover Town.
The frontman plundered 31 league goals last season and manager Holmes is hoping to have him back in time for the home game against Larkhall Athletic (3pm).
Boss Holmes told the Daily Echo: “Toby got a knock which was a bit of a worry. He had to come off at half-time, so we missed him in the second half.
“He bruised his foot. They can either clear up quickly or linger around for a while.
“It’s a bit of a worry at the moment. He will be assessed and we will see what happens.”
Wimborne go into the contest having won their opening two league fixtures at home, scoring seven times in the process.
Larkhall were beaten 2-1 at Bristol Manor Farm last time out.
