CHRISTCHURCH boss Ollie Cherrett has vowed to bring back striker Luke Stone "at the right time" as his team continue their promotion push.

Priory are third in Sydenhams Wessex One and travel to Alton tomorrow (3pm), with Stone rated 50-50 to feature following injury.

Cherrett told the Daily Echo: "After coming back from a broken bone in his foot, playing on a 4G pitch is probably not going to do Luke the world of good.

"He is a goalscorer and that is his job in the team. Without his goals, we've been lucky people have chipped in.

"We want him to be playing but to get the best out of him, he needs to be 100 per cent fit. We have to weigh that up and bring him back at the right time."

Cherrett will also be without unavailable duo Dave Legg and Richie Sands, as well as the injured Ash Pope.

Elsewhere in the division, New Milton entertain Hythe & Dibden and Ringwood visit Andover New Street.

In the Wessex Premier, Bashley welcome leaders Moneyfields, Hamworthy United take on visitors Cowes and Brockenhurst are at home to Portland.

Poppies and Verwood are away to Newport and Sholing, respectively, while Lymington travel to Fawley.
